I have my own, eclectic, beliefs - I'm a believer in fate and so I guess that means there must be some higher power (a God or Gods) who determine that fate. Plus I believe in reincarnation. But then I also accept the scientific explanations for life, the universe and everything. However I wonder if the science behind it was 'caused' by the 'God/Gods'... So, it's like a cycle of multiple beliefs taken from a few religions. On the subject of Newcastle's Evangelists, it's quite nice to walk into town on a weekend when the gospel choir are singing at Monument - it's like going about your shopping with a movie style soundtrack in the background. I just have to ignore the schpiel about Jesus, God and my eternal life... Religion freaks me out a little.
